3 minutes, 27 seconds Read

Blake Casper and Allison Adams had no idea if Tampa residents would support their ambitious business and social experiment when they opened Oxford Exchange last year, but after painstaking restoration work and designing it with elements that seamlessly mix old with new, Oxford Exchange has proved itself as a hit among residents of Tampa Bay.

European-inspired space offers restaurant, bookstore, coffeehouse and gift store all under one roof.

The Shop

Oxford Exchange (OE), located on Kennedy Boulevard near the University of Tampa, is truly unique. As a restaurant, shared workspace, bookstore and shop all in one, as well as featuring coffee and tea bars and an eclectic store!

Blake Casper and Allison Adams created OE as their latest endeavor in their hospitality group that also includes High Cotton in Tampa and Predalina in St. Petersburg as well as Library in St. Petersburg.

Experience an unforgettable visit as you enjoy caramel lattes or taste chorizo breakfast tacos; your unique encounter will keep you coming back!

The Bookstore

Oxford Exchange bookstore is often their entryway into this magical place. Rejoicing in physical books’ splendor, this special space provides a rare and engaging browsing experience – with new releases, bestsellers, classics and signed first editions on offer from their curated selection.

These stores carry coffee table style books, decorative home goods, good smelling bath trinkets and children’s books in addition to offering monthly book clubs as well as Tea for Tots events – perfect for families with young children!

The Tea Bar

This iconic building serves as home for this local hot spot – a restaurant, coffee shop and bookstore all-in-one! Their unique shop offers one-of-a-kind home goods and gifts while they also host private events such as weddings.

This cafe is absolutely delightful! They offer an excellent selection of teas (see #14) and beverages to complement. Weekends tend to be busy here so finding seating may prove challenging; but trust me; its food will more than make up for any difficulties encountered!

There is also a greenhouse atrium, bookstore and gift shop, Buddy Brew Coffee Stand & TeBella Tea Bar (Buddy Brew is open until 2 a.m. daily and TeBella offers tea services until 5 pm) as well as Commerce Club offices which rent office spaces out. And of course there’s the beautiful Conservatory where afternoon tea can be found served daily!

The Commerce Club

Oxford Exchange is Tampa’s finest venue. Boasting burning oil lamps and an inviting courtyard, Oxford Exchange boasts the home of Buddy Brew Coffee and TeBella Tea Company alongside retail products that range from coffee beans to tea leaves.
