Kids love delicious snacks, but as a parent, you need to ensure that they are eating healthy. You can give a nutritious snack to your kid after school in the evening. - Paneer cheese toast – This is one of the best snacks that your kid will enjoy. Note that in this recipe, we are not going to use any sauce, ketchup, or chutney. Take a pan, pour a little oil in it and add jeera and chopped onions. Add ginger-garlic paste and let it cook until the raw smell goes away. To it, add tomatoes, salt, and turmeric. Let it cook until the tomatoes turn mushy. Now add paneer to it. In the end, add Kasuri methi or coriander leaves to it.
Now take two slices of bread and spread the cooked paneer on them. Place the bread along with butter on the pan. Grate cheese on the bread. Cover and let it cook until cheese melts. You can also cook it in an oven. Serve it immediately.
- Cheese dosa – Cheese dosa is one of the healthiest snack options for your kid. To make cheese dosa, you need dosa batter ready. Remember that the batter should be thick but should have a spreading consistency.
Grease the pan and get rid of the excess oil using tissue. Now pour a ladle of batter on it and quickly spread it to make round dosa. Sprinkle onions and homemade coriander chutney on top of it. Cover and cook it for a few minutes until the onions are well-cooked. Cover and cook it for a couple of moments until the onions are very much cooked Once the edges begin to leave, sprinkle coriander leaves on them. Add grated cheese and once it is melted, fold it to the shape of your liking. Serve it hot.
- Vegetable cutlet – Vegetable cutlet is a patty made with mashed vegetables, which are dipped in a batter and then rolled in bread crumbs. In the last, it is fried in oil. First, prepare the vegetables. Wash and cut French beans, carrots, potatoes, cauliflower, beetroots, and cabbage. You can add any vegetable of your choice. Now steam the vegetables to make them soft. You can also pressure cook the vegetables. Now mesh the vegetables and add coriander leaves, ginger paste, and salt. Now add bread crumbs to it so that it absorbs the moisture from the vegetables. Mix it well and make patties from it. Make a thin batter using besan and water and dip the patty in it. Now coat the patty with bread crumbs. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties in it. Serve it hot with chutney.
