So whether you’re looking to spend an afternoon floating along the lazy river, or searching for something a little more exciting, we’ve got some ideas!

Hence, to enjoy a classic beach holiday, book your cheap flights to Tampa around April to June (the summer season) and make sure to carry your beach wardrobe.

Adventure Island in Tampa

Adventure Island is at the top on our list of most popular aquatic parks located within Tampa Bay because it’s the largest one in the region. It has been constantly adding new features over the past few years The water park recently added a new splash pad area named Shaka Laka Shores which features 25 different ways to soak!

There are many ways to keep cool, and we like that there’s something for all ages. You can choose to chill with your kids along in the Rambling Bayou, splash in one of the play and splash areas, take a dip at one of the many pools at the park, go on the waterslides, or play tennis within the Spike Zone, there truly is something for all ages!

LEGOLAND Florida Water Park in Winter Haven

Opening daily at 11 am from June through August. The season’s hours start in August and begin at 12pm on weekdays, and 11 am on weekends.

After you’ve sweated it out at LEGOLAND then head to the rear part of the park and cool off in The LEGOLAND Florida Water Park. It is important to make sure you’ve included this experience on your ticket.

There are many water slides that are suitable for kids and even the kids who are. It isn’t LEGOLAND if there weren’t many opportunities to build with huge floating bricks while you cruise through the lazy river, or even build a LEGO-built boat in Creative Cove (pictured)!

Southshore Bay Lagoon in Wimauma is the latest lagoon in the region which is open to not only residents but also anyone with the day pass.
