All processing (merges, splits, table extractions, rasterization, and compression) is handled locally inside your browser tab thread. Once you download the output or close the tab, the buffer data is wiped from RAM.

2. No Server Logs & Database Records

Since we do not host server-side upload processes, WebVK does not collect, log, or store files content, names, sizes, or metadata. We maintain a zero-log infrastructure. Your files remain under your direct control at all times.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

WebVK does not use tracking cookies or marketing beacons. We only utilize the browser's localStorage API to store your dark/light theme preference. This allows us to keep your visual workspace consistent during navigations. This local variable is stored on your device and is not shared with us.

4. Third-Party Web Services

Some tools (such as the "Save Website as PDF" utility) rely on external API triggers to fetch and render pages that CORS policies block locally. For these specific tools:

  • URL links are routed to standard cloud rendering modules (like Microlink).
  • These endpoints retrieve the page graphics layout and compile it.
  • No user-identifying document files are sent during this chromium node call.
