The third certification is AWS Certified Security Specialty – Designing, Implementing, and Managing Secure Applications on The AWS Security Platform (CSS). Here, candidates are tested for their ability to design secure application architectures hosted on the Amazon Web Services environment while adhering to industry-standard security best practices like least privilege access controls, identity federation techniques, etc. Additionally, they need to show proficiency in managing these apps over time by monitoring changes made either manually or through automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
The fourth certification has two parts: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Automating Application Deployment and Scaling in The AWS Platform and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Managing Operations on The AWS Platform (CDSO).
